Terms & Conditions of Sales

Article 1: object

This contract is intended for the exclusive use of the reservation of stays in guest rooms. We are committed to personally welcoming customers with all the desirable attentions to facilitate their stay and knowledge of the region.

Article 2 - Duration of stay

The client signatory to this contract concluded for a fixed period may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises.

Article 3 - Reservation formalities

The reservation is effective and blocked when the customer has sent the owner a deposit of 50% of the total amount of the price of the stay.Please note that until the payment of the deposit is made, the reservation is not confirmed and that, consequently, we reserve the right to recover the rooms.

Article 4 - Cancellation of the stay by the customer

Any cancellation must be notified to us by e-mail ( contact@relaisdetermes-gers.com ) or by registered letter (Relais de la Tour - 10 rue des Pyrénées - 32400 Termes d'Armagnac).

We inform you that in case of cancellation of the reservation before the beginning of the stay, it will be due, as a penalty clause by the customer, an indemnity fixed as follows:

- If the cancellation occurs more than 15 days before the date of arrival, the deposit is refunded in full.

- If the cancellation occurs between less than 15 days preceding the date of arrival,the deposit remains with the owner who reserves the right to claim the balance of the price of accommodation.

In the event of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the cost of accommodation remains fully acquired by the owner.

No cancellation insurance is included in the rates.

Article 5 - Cancellation of the stay by the owner

If, before the beginning of the stay, the owner has to cancel the reservation, he is required to inform the customer immediately by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt or by e-mail. The customer will then be immediately and fully reimbursed for the sums already paid, and will also receive compensation at least equal to that which the customer would have borne if the cancellation had occurred by him on that date.

Section 6- Arrival and departure times

The customer must arrive on the day specified when booking, no earlier than 5 p.m. and no later than 8 p.m. In the event of late or delayed arrival, the customer must notify you by telephone (on 06 77 44 47 17). For an arrival other than within the times fixed above, the customer must have the agreement of the owner (possibility of depositing luggage during the day, for example).?

The departure time is fixed at 11 am at the latest.

Article 7 - Payment of the balance and deposit

The balance is to be paid upon entering the premises.

Consumption and additional services not mentioned in the contract or estimate will be paid to the owner as they arise.

Article 8 - Tourist tax

The tourist tax is a local tax that the customer must pay to the owner who then transfers it to the public treasury (0.8€ per adult and per night).

Article 9 - Breakfast

Breakfast is served every morning in a place that will be indicated to you the day before (veranda, dining room, etc.). It is served between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Article 10 - Use of premises and art of living

Respect for a certain art of living is required of all guests to guarantee the tranquility of the place and the comfort of its guests. In particular, it is requested not to smoke inside the rooms and common areas. The customer undertakes more generally to respect the instructions of good manners which will be indicated to him, those which are imposed on all when one lives in community and the present general conditions of sale.

Minors moving on the property are under the sole and entire responsibility of their parents or persons having authority over them.

The customer undertakes to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to systematically declare – and to assume financially – any damage for which he is responsible.

Article 11 - Capacity of the premises

This contract is established for a specific number of people. If the number of customers exceeds this number, the owner is able to refuse the additional customers. This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or breach of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of the departure of a number of customers greater than those refused, no refund can be considered.

Article 12 - Presence of animals

Pets are not allowed, except working animals (guide dog).

Article 13 - The swimming pool

The swimming pool is open from April to October, from 11 am to 6 pm. From 6:00 p.m., the swimming pool is no longer accessible except with the express agreement of the owners of the Relais de la Tour and the swimming pool cover is closed. The swimming pool is reserved only for family members and relatives of the owners, for customers staying in bed and breakfast. The Relais de la Tour reminds customers of the lack of pool supervision. Any bathing in the pool must be done under the constant supervision of adults capable of intervening quickly in the event of danger. Access to the swimming pool and its surroundings is prohibited for unaccompanied children: children must be under the active and vigilant supervision and sole responsibility of their parents . All users of the swimming pool must be covered by Civil Liability defense and recourse insurance.
The Relais de la Tour and the owners of the premises decline all responsibility in the event of an accident or drowning.

Article 14 - Modifications of the conditions of sale

These conditions of sale are subject to change at any time and without notice. Acceptance and compliance with these conditions of sale are deemed acquired as soon as the deposit is paid.
